The beach is the place I go to when I need to think. As a teenager I used to study on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean sea. As an adult, I walk on the beach to relax and let the subconscious play. As an artist, I never tire of exploring the transient boundaries between light and water, waves and sand, man/man made and nature. The shifting boundaries, the transient reflections in the wet sand.
This series captures the very special moments, when looking turns into seeing. The moments when the ocean becomes a mirror reflecting the breath and depth of our internal world. When man and nature are truly on the same wave. and internal and external worlds reflect each other.
